  i'm not sure why but i've never really been into westerns at all, i don't know if maybe it's because i grew up with sci fi and so westerns just seem a little dull or what but i have no westerns at all in my pretty large film collection

  this is probably one of the most spoken about soundtracks allover the world,,it just grips you from start to finish,,suspense thrills all the way through,,truely an epic of large proportions...

  Agreed. The good the bad and te ugly is the best soundtrack I can think of right now as well. Although there are many many great soundtracks that were made over the years. The godfather has an awesome soundtrack and some of Eric claptons stuff from goodfellas though those are just songs I guess not son much a soundtrack.

  Yeah the good the bad and the ugly's soundtrack is very recognisable and i've only seen parts and i still always recognise it. I have seen the godfather but i didn't find the score or even the film all that memorable or that good personally,

  Another film that had a really good soudtrack which i was just listening to today and somehow totally forgot about in my other posts, The Crow that has some great songs on it, my personal favourites are the Nine inch nails and the cure songs on it.

  My personal favorite for best sound track is the instrumental version of lethal weapon , david sanborn on saxophone , eric clapton on guitar and michael kamen orchistrating the works , absolutely great .....

  another really interesting soundtrack, not necessarily the best and maybe it's partly just because i love the film so much, but Blade Runner has a really kick ass soundtrack too, really goes with the film well too

  Can't believe nobody has said Rocky IV that soundtrack is awesome! It's just a classic quality film soundtrack.
