  Just because i was curious which film would be mentioned the most,
  basically what films that are wildly hated by critics and a lot of the audience that you think are unfaily judged?
  
  There are a few that come to mind for me.
  
  Spider-Man 3, sure it`s not perfect, over crowded with too many villians and events, but it`s not near as bad as it`s made out to be i don`t think still a pretty good film.
  
  Alien Ressurection, admittedly it`s not as good as the films in the series that preceded it and it`s very flawed, but there are some good moments and the film as a whole is not totally awful.
  
  Anyone else got any?

  Star Trek Nemesis - Love that chicken moment.
  
  Resident Evil - fairly well panned by most 'critics' but i loved the first couple of games and really enjoyed the films so far.
  
  Lara Croft Tomb Raider (only the first one) - Really enjoyed the film, and Agelina Jolie was very much the right choice.
  
  Matrix Revolutions - Sure it was a very formulaic ending and there were some very un-necessary scenes but over all i'm happy with the end for all characters involved and it tied it up nicely.
  
  Go - Not sure if it was panned or not but it's a good cheap film that was not well received, but it's a good film all the same.
  
  As for your choices, Spider-Man 3 was the bes of them as far as i'm concerned, harry's character is awesome in the end.
  
  Alien Ressurection was not a terrible film but it was ultimately pointless, there was nothing scary about it and the action was a little silly, The alien effects were so obviously CGI it was cringeworthy in places, having said that Jonah was a great character and the dialogue was entertaining in places.
  
  I would have also included the following but they actually do suck donky cock so don't qualify for this thread:

  Agree with some of your choices there Chillblane (aside from Go, purely because i`ve never seen it)
  
  Star Trek Nemesis, decent film let down by some story issues
  
  Resident Evil especially they are very entertaining films which critics seem to automatically decide they will hate before they have even seen it, and so far they have been really good, new one looks good too.
  
  Lara Croft, as you said an enjoyable film and Angelina Jolie was a good cast choice for the lead character, the sequel though really was awful.
  
  Matrix Revolututions, aside from some slightly dodgy CGI sequences in parts it`s a good ending to the series and is a step above Reloaded which itself isn`t as bad as it`s made out to be.
  
  Yeah Alien Ressurection wasn`t scary, but as you said some good dialogue between some of the characters, and Ron Perlman is always good whatever he is in.
  
  I`d add Cowboys and Aliens as well, that was absolutely panned by critics and a fair amount of the general audience, but i really liked it, good story (not overly complicated but not everything needs to be) the effects are good, some great action, and the cast is good as well.
  I think people were expecting too much from a film about Cowboys vs Aliens.

  Thought of a couple more:
  
  Max Payne - Not well received but actually a reasonable enough film with some good concepts.
  
  Hitman - I may get some flack for this but i really like Timothy Olophant and i think he does a good enough job, and the woman is certainly fit enough, and half naked a couple of times.
  
  Batman Returns - The only sequel Tim Burton or Michael Keaton ever made and i think it's a shame that Batman Forever/Batman and Robin were not more like this film, it was dark and entertaining, the way Batman should be.

  Max Payne was ok, i don`t think Mark wahlberg was the best choice to play Max but it`s not as awful as it`s made out to be, i think part of the problem was the game was very violent and the film sort of sanatized it by making it a 12 which probably turned some of the games fans against it.
  
  You know what i totally agree with you on Hitman mate, i thought Timothy Olyphant did an great job as agent 47, played the character well, and the film itself is a good and entertaining action film, and yes the woman in it is fit, i think her name is ( i may spell this wrong) Olga Kurlyenko (she was in Max Payne as well, a small part at least).
  
  If you want to see a truly bad videogame adaption, then Uwe Boll is the guy to look to, Alone in the Dark, Bloodrayne etc, honestly anyone who thinks Hitman or Max Payne are the worst really has not seen any of Uwe Boll`s attempts.

  The issue with Uwe Boll's films is that he actually makes money from making bad films on purpose, It's like he watched the Producers and said to himself, 'I can do that for real'
  
  It works for him though.
  
  And yes the woman from Hitman is also in Max Payne

  nah i agree with the grouchy critics lol, both max payne and hitman were absolute garbage as far as quality of films go. i mean you could watch them, hitman has that olga kurylenko who is the hot bond girl which is nice, but the film is poor quality so it should receive poor reviews from that point of view
