FERRARI F40 FULL RESTORATION

Fascinating stuff, this. A chap called Tim buys an F40 that's spent 8 years rotting away in a garage somewhere, then sends it to Mototechnique, a restoration company in Surrey, for a full re-do.

God knows how much it must be costing him to replace pretty much every component, and as this thread shows, it's clearly a long and complex process. It's amazing to see the car at various stages of the build though, and to get a proper look at the components that make it what it is.

That first link only goes up as far as August, so I found the original thread on Ferrari Chat for some more recent updates. The exterior is looking like this at the moment...





Pretty impressive, but just imagine how good it'll be once it's done.
