FERRARI 250 GTE SQUAD CAR
In 1962, at an awards ceremony held to celebrate the Rome police force's success at tackling organised crime, one officer joked that a Ferrari would be the perfect gift after being asked by Italian president Giovanni Gronchi what they'd like as a reward.

Gronchi got in touch with Enzo Ferrari, who prepared two 250 GTEs for the force. Unfortunately, one of them got written off during testing and was destroyed. The other one though, is here in this video. Enjoy.
