Old red nose is finally going. After 26 years of shouting, swearing and being generally obnoxious, he is at last going to retire.

I expect my views are shared by some and disagreed with by others.

But what do you have to say on the matter?

After 26 years of WINNING and grinding the competition into the dust you mean ?

You have to take your hat off to the guy. He has built so many different teams in his time at United and has won pretty much every trophy going (though im sure he missed out on a couple of minor ones).

He retiring in the right way. Just crowned champions again, with a decent young squad. People have been talking up Moyes to succeed him but i think it would be too big a job for him. The only man i think who can step in and get respect straight away is, Jose Mourinho. Personally, i would love to see that. All those Chelsea fans suddenly hating him for choosing Man Utd over Chelsea, lol.

he's done what no other has done in the modern era. i don't think his judgement is the best, can't find players like Arsene Wenger. I don't think he is tactically as good as some other managers, but the man's W.I.L.L. is fukking unrivalled. that guy comes and conquers

no one is obligated to give him any respect, his achievements have already claimed it

Cant find players like wenger ?

I think it is wenger who cannot find the players.

Wenger never understood that a team needs balance. A mix of qualities.

Wenger's most successful years were actually when he still had a lot of the players that he inherited.
