Who are yoy favourite singers? Like the thread i started about guitarists only singers instead basically.
My personal favourites are corey taylor, he's got an excelleny voice and is in two great bands, i really like hayley william's voice aswell paramore are the least heavy band i like.

Loads of great singers out there, but my top 3 would be:

Bruce Dickinson - the human air-raid siren
Myles Kennedy - awesome vocal range
Eddie Vedder - just love his voice

Also props to Ronnie James Dio, Rob Halford, Elliott Smith, Jonah Matranga, Axl Rose, Chris Cornell and Joe Elliott

Bruce dickinson is good, his voice seems to have held up well, sometimes as singers get older they lose some range, like meat loaf who is still a good singer but he lost power.
Myles kennedy is pretty good, not a fan of most of his songs though myself some are good though.
Eddie vedder not really a fan of his.

is this in any music? if so cant beat florence welch especially live then you have emily haines from metric and her solo stuff and i would also include feist in one of my best singers out there at the moment

favourite singer at the moment has to be the recently named single welsh beauty katherine jenkins although im not really into her music she is good to look at.

Yeah this is favourite singers from any genre of music, not just any particular type of music, although i personally have never liked florence welch, i`m presuming that is her from florence and the machine, and i`ve never heard of the second one you mentioned.

The good news for hardcore being that she is single and available now after her split from Gethin Jenkins. This probably is the least male answer but I do have a liking for Michael Buble's singing, not exactly masculine to admit but just fact lol

But anyway putting my post back on topic, i really like Amy lee of Evanescence`s voice.

The first name that popped into my head when I saw this thread was: Michael Jackson.
I know he was more of an all round performer and showman but I still enjoy his stuff even now.
Before I finish, I would like to say: Amazing talent, very shady man.

Well that joke didn't exactly 'Bring Me To Life' lol Evanescence were superb, her voice was very unique and very haunting
