  Looks pretty good though, I'm not a huge fan of really any comics themselves but as long as the movies are put together right, I do enjoy most of them!

  Have to say, this looks kinda crap. The cast is badly miscast, and the effects on The Thing look weird, they for some reason decided black outfits were needed (because gritty and moody) and it's changed pretty much everything from the comic. And the fact that the sole reason this film exists to keep rights just makes me want it to completely bomb.

  Gotta agree with you JLF, the cast is waaaay too young, & The Thing, he looks more like a badly drawn/animated Pokemon haha, won't be rushing to see it, but will check it out in the future
  
  On a side note, are the invisible woman & human torch still brother & sister?

  Well they can't possibly be brother and sister in the same way as the comic characters, since neither the actress playing Sue or actor playing Johnny look mixed race. So pointless adoption storyline, all because the director wanted to hire his friend from his previous film. Yeah the thing just looks like a pile of rocks, and it genuinely doesn't look like he has eyes.

  There was no way i was gonna rush out and pay to see this so after a spot of waiting, i downloaded a decent enough copy the other day. The verdict : the film was a bit 'Meh'. It just wasnt all that special. I didnt hate the film despite my initial reservations about the really young cast. The film certainly looks pretty enough (with the exception of The Thing who, at times, appears to have been knocked up using the same effects as were used in the old sinbad films). Also, Doom in this is such a drip of a character. Once events take a turn, even then he is not given a great deal to do. A missed opportunity here. There were glimmers of promise that unfortunatly didnt amount to much.
