Thankfully we've got drawn against Shrewsbury Town in the third round of the FA Cup on the 8th of January 2022. A lot of times in recent years we've got drawn against another Premier League team. This will give us a chance to play some of our youngsters and bench players, like we've done so far in the League Cup. It'll be a good chance for Williams, Konate, Gomez, Morton, Ox, Jones, Minamino, Origi and Gordon to get some game time. If we're lucky Elliott might be back too.

A couple good games to keep a eye out for here looking forward to don't expected many upset with the big clubs but if they don't take it seriously like they have done in previous years a couple could be out early.

The FA Cup has lost it's shine, none of the big boys can be arsed with it anymore until it gets to the semi finals.
Long gone are the days of the top named players going to Yeovil on a icy wet January and getting turned over, I'd be amazed if one of the top 4 don't win it, but i hope to be proved wrong.

I completely agree some of the them do fielded strong teams like Chelsea did a bit and others just rest players not bothering about the fa cup, it's unfair on the small fan basses like Yeovil who get a nice size crowd which should get to see the big names at there stadium went they have been drawn against them instead of getting second rate players as there paying good money to see the match. I didn't see the Arsenal game but I expect that's what they did because there out now. But they are normally a cup team. I think the lower ranked teams would rather play the best and lose a lot than play a big team with second rate players in it as then there only getting the money for getting through, but degrades the FA Cup.
