Fans of classic Stallone, Arnie, Willis, Seagal, Lungren and Van Damme 80's action films will love the return of this franchise. The trailer starts off with a Mr & Mrs Smith tone with Statham and Fox, and then Stallone enters the scene when he needs Staham's help on a mission. The addition of 50 Cent to the cast is underwhelming but I love the addition of Jaa and Uwais. I'm sure they'll do a female led spin-off after this with Fox in the lead role, after the rumours they've been working on an Expendabelles script for a long time.

My expectations before watching this were low and it still underdelivered. The cast have all done films and/or TV shows that I've enjoyed in the past and they were let down with a poor script and direction. Hopefully this is the end of a franchise that had potential but always failed to live up to the films that they paid homage to.
