Oh good, a friendly against Norway. Still, it's the closest thing we've got to any sort of meaningful football until Switzerland on Monday so best make the most of it really.
Rooney's first game as captain too, and John Stones will make his first start! Nothing? You're not alone, a crowd of just 35,000-40,000 is expected at Wembley tonight, which will be the lowest ever for an England game at the new stadium. World Cup hangover.
Here's the team (early): Joe Hart, Stones, Phil Jones, Gary Cahill, Leighton Baines, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jack Wilshere, Jordan Henderson, Raheem Sterling, Daniel Sturridge, Wayne Rooney. Five players under 22 there so you can't say Hodgson's not giving youth a chance, and the uncapped trio of Calum Chambers, Danny Rose and Fabian Delph will be on the bench. Would have been four but Jack Colback's injured, along with Danny Welbeck and Ben Foster.
Tips then. Norway are no great shakes (ranked 53rd in the world) so an unconvincing win looks more than do-able. Unconvincing's very much the operative word there so steer clear of the handicaps, and there's not much temptation with 4/9 outright either. Under 2.5 goals looks reasonable at 5/6 but i'd probably go as far to call 1.5 at 5/2, not expecting a classic. 10/11 on the England clean sheet is decent as well.
Sturridge and Rooney are both odds-on in the anytimes so you're better off having a look at Sterling at 5/2, or 7/1 to get the first.
Prediction: 1-0 (5/1)
