There are only 4 friendlies between now and Roy Hodgson having to decide who he'll be taking to Brazil, and the first of them is this evening's game against Chile at Wembley. He's named 3 uncapped players (Fraser Forster, Adam Lallana and Jay Rodriguez) in the squad for this one and Tuesday's meeting with Germany, and word from the Daily Mirror is that they'll all be starting tonight. They'll need to make a good first impression.
There's been a raft of withdrawals so far, with Michael Carrick and Danny Welbeck out of both games, and Kyle Walker, Steven Gerrard, Rickie Lambert and Daniel Sturridge missing until next week, but tonight was always going to be about experimentation anyway.
Here's the Mirror's predicted starting XI: Forster; Johnson, Cahill, Jones, Baines; Milner, Lampard, Wilshere; Lallana, Rooney, Rodriguez.
Chile are without the injured Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal but Cardiff's Gary Medel and Barcelona's Alexis Sanchez should both play.
