It looks a little bit generic in parts, but I really like Queen Latifah as an actress and Ludacris isn't bad either. The premise of them of them stumbling across a murder is a kinda cliché but I think the film will pick up pace in the second act once they're on the run.

It wasn't amazing, but then again, I never really expected it to be. But I will say that Queen Latifah was solid as always, and got to show off her dramatic and comedic range, as well as a bit of action too. Ludacris did what he does in the Fast films, by being the solid and reliable comic relief. Beau Bridges is really good as the local sheriff trying to solve the mystery.
