Emily Ratajkowski is at it again with her feminist posts, this time she’s showing off her snazzy armpit hair in a recent shoot for Harper’s Bazaar, along with an essay.
When I think of a women who doesn’t shave her body hair, I usually picture some dreadlocked hippy named Lilac with a stinking vag and a 70’s bush. However, Em-Rat ain’t nothing like your typical feminist and can get away with a bit of armpit fuzz. However, some people disagreed and weighed in with their opinions:
Bunch of plebs! As good as Em-Rat looks with her armpit hair, I sure as hell won’t be following in her footsteps. Ain’t no one wants to see my half Greek bristles poking out of my vest top. Fuck that!

I prefer her tits but will take armpit hair in desperation.

Also, sure have armpit hair if you want but not sure it was worth the self-aggrandizing essay. Ilana Glazer doesn't shave her pits, is a strong feminist role model and doesn't feel the need to make it an issue on Instagram, it's just her choice and equally no one's business, so why make it their business?
This doesn't normalise it, just doing it and getting on with your day normalises it. Making a song and dance with a lavish black and white shot makes it an issue. I'd understand if she did it and some gross internet site or magazine started to take swings at her, then sure there would be a need for retort and to put peeps in their place but this feels like stirring trouble for click and to stay relevant.

I agree. I don't shave my armpits and do not make a song and dance about it. I do shave my arms though. eyebrows--off. nose hairs, only shortened once they reach my mouth, then simply bitten. leave hares alone, they cause no harm
