I was saying to Scotty just the other day that we haven't had a Apple and Samsung battle in quite a while. He was most upset that the fight had sort of diminished while crying into his cup of tea. He broke down you see. So, to cheer him up, here we have A BRAND NEW FIGHT. Please don't die of happiness Scotty!

Apple are seeking a retrial for a patent case against Samsung to get more money (why else eh). They were originally awarded $119m but they want $2.2bn (greedy bar stewards). Apple originally wanted Samsung to pay because it copied software "distinctive to its iOS software". So now Apple want a new trial to see if they can get more money.
It's like an elephant against a rhinoceros. Two beasts fighting to win vying for survival. Who will win this time round?

It seems like this should be a close battle this time. Apple while they still make fine products and have a loyal fan base seems to be lacking in ingenuity. Samsung now makes products as well as apple and they seem to be pushing technology. Apple might win again this time but it's days are numbered. -

Thank you for your post, it was so full of insight and so well written, it has really told me something i didn't know before which will be really useful for me to know today.

You've never heard that before? The famous saying all parents teach there children "If a bully hits you, you hit him back, like an elephant fights a rhino".
Durrrrrr.
On another point, the new micro USB cable is going to be reversible, much like the recently updated apple cable.
I hope Thomas Edison raises from his grave and sues Apple for using lights on their product.
All Apples suing is stupid imo, technology cannot grow without people improving upon previous ideas from other inventors. It's hardly like they invented phones.
