The plot thickens with the whole Babestation saga - less than 24 hours after former Babestation model Laura Jones, said she ‘wasn’t sure’ she wanted to accept a fan’s offer to leave her £20k in his will, she’s now had a change of heart. Well duh...
50-year-old Thomas Weir, put out the nationwide search for Laura after claiming their phone chats helped him through a rough time in his life six years ago. Thomas’s health has deteriorated rapidly since he last spoke to his fave babe which prompted him to reach out so he could leave her his remaining cash.
According to the Daily Record, Laura called Thomas on Wednesday and explained that she would happily accept the money to spend on her children. Clearly Thomas was ecstatic to hear from Laura:
Quote:When Laura said 'hello' down the phone I was shellshocked.
We had the most amazing conversation that lasted over two and half hours.
She’s just so lovely.
Laura explained that she wasn’t comfortable with having the money. She suggested I use it for a bucket list, but you can hardly do things like jump out of a plane with one leg.She then came up with the idea of drum lessons as she knew I used to play, but I’ve had lessons before. If she took the money in the end she asked if it would be okay for it to go towards her young children as well as clothes and lingerie for her modelling career.
Nothing is set in stone but she is the most beautiful person and I want her to have it.
I love how Laura suggested a bucket list just to appear kind when secretly she was probably thinking “Nah mate, fuck the bucket list, just spend it on me.”
Thomas first spotted Laura on The Adult Channel during a segment called ‘Laura Dares’ but it took him a while to pluck up the courage to call her, but once he did he quickly realised how much they had in common. However, his excitement was short lived because Thomas was left disappointed when Laura disappeared from TV altogether. Fortunately, he rediscovered her again in 2011:
Quote:I was on an adult channel and saw a live chat line segment called ‘Laura Live’ and it was her.
I was astounded, my heart was thumping faster than it had ever done before.
I could feel blood pumping right through my veins and thought I was going to have a heart attack.
We really connected.
The chat was not about sex or relationships in any way.
We spoke about our own lives, the news and sport teams as I’m a lifelong Greenock Morton fan.She told me about her passion for orange chocolate and we spoke about the band, Simple Minds.
I mean yeah, it does sound like they got on famously, and I suppose it’s nice knowing she’ll spend the money on her kids and it won’t get swallowed up by the government. I’m really glad Thomas got to speak to Laura. Sounds like the whole thing was eating the poor guy up a bit and now he and she have got what the wanted. I guess apart from the fact that he’s on deaths door it’s kind of a happy ending!
