Donald Trump blimp takes flight over London & what a glorious sight it is!

If anyone knows how to make anyone feel unwelcome, it's us Brits, and for once, our hostility is actually working in our favour.



In the buildup to Donald Trump’s UK visit, there was talk of crowdfunding a gigantic baby blimp to fly over London while the US president was doing his thing. What initially started out as a bit of a joke actually surpassed it's target and Baby Trump Blimp was born - complete with orange skin and bouffant hair. People were left wondering if it would actually happen but lo and behold, Baby Trump made a spectacular appearnce and can currently be seen circling around London. Take a look:



It's definitely one of the best protests I've ever seen. It's got to be pretty humiliating thing for such a powerful man to see. Here’s what Matthew Butcher, one of the organisers of the protest, had to say about it all:
 

People see it and they know what it’s getting at. It’s bringing to light his infantile way of doing politics and the dangers behind his politics.There’s a toddler-in-chief in charge at the White House and the real life effects of those politics is pretty devastating.People are pleased to see some humour. We’re just one small part of one big movement in the UK.

The organisers should give themselves a pat on the back for this. and just when you thought things couldn't get any better, Trumps comes out by saying the blimp made him feel unwelcome and that he won't be returning to London. Result! It couldn't have gone any better! Speaking to The Sun, Trump said:
 

I used to love London as a city. I haven’t been there in a long time. But when they make you feel unwelcome, why would I stay there?I guess when they put out blimps to make me feel unwelcome, no reason for me to go to London.

That was pretty much the goal, mate!
