Denver just become the first city to decriminalise magic mushrooms

Denver just made history today by becoming the first city to decriminalise magic mushrooms after a citywide poll.

 

As you know, Colorado is no stranger to ‘firsts’, having been the first state in America to legalise weed so it kinda made sense to carry on being the coolest motherfuckers ever! They held a poll where the majority ruled and thankfully the decision to decriminalise magic mushrooms won with 50.6% of the vote. Damn. Still a pretty close call. It’s crazy that there are still so many people who don’t trust something that is naturally grown. I bet they’re more than happy to pop their pharmaceuticals though. Here’s the official press release from Denver today:  
 

Magic mushrooms are the city’s lowest law enforcement priority.
This ruling prohibits the city government from using any resources to impose criminal penalties against adults over 21 years of age for personal use and possession of psilocybin.

 
It’s nice to see Denver being so progressive. Come on UK, catch up!

don't trust mushies myself , heard some horrific stories, but what a sensible decision to legalise it. democracy at work. not some group of straight- laced civil servants telling people what's best for them. as long as nobody gets hurt, who cares?  let cops focus on real crime
