  This is a very good movie, apart from the dubbing which takes some getting used too, especially Ziyi Zhang's, who has an american dubbing for her. Overall the story is really good. One can only believe that the original language would be more appealing. I would recommend thiis if you are a fan of this movie style.

  Although I did watch the film back on its original release, I can't recall a great deal about the film. May be ripe for a re watch. Saying that I have download crouching tiger 2, still need to watch that. Sequels meant to be more grounded than the original (less fanning about in the air).

  I really enjoyed Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon when i watched it and for me it is probably one of my favourite martial art films. The whole flying through the air was a cool idea but with the second one supposedly being more grounded like you said there should more fight scenes hopefully. Luckily for me i watched it with subtitles rather than getting a dubbed version. I should also look into getting the second one to watch.

  After this sitting in the 'too watch' list for several weeks i finally got around to watching Crouching Tiger 2 this evening..or part of it anyways. We gave the film its due, up to around an hour infact, but we just couldnt stand to watch anymore. Unlikeable performances, basic plot, a couple of ok' ish fight scenes..all in all, very, very average..so average we idnt make it to the end. A shame.
