  Behind the Sightings is a new movie that was inspired by last year’s creepy clown sighting epidemic. The movie follows two filmmakers and sets itself up like a Blair Witch Project type of scenario in that the movie is based off of 112 hours of footage recovered from the personal belongings of a husband and wife who go out to investigate the clown sightings that haunted America.   There's no set release date for the movie yet but it's looking to be around Otober time, probably Halloween I reckon.

  Thanks for posting this trailer, Reedefox. Sadly though i wont be checking this out. Not because im scared of clowns (would be a turn around as i went out partying last halloween dressed as a clown), but because this looks pretty pants lol. Suppose when film makers run out of ideas (wonder if its the blair witch or paranormal activity guys behind this one haha). Little concerned though as what with the far superior looking 'It' and this out not all that long before halloween, and the fact that these coming out will inevitably lead to an increase in clown sightings. concerned that going out at halloween dressed as the same clown again may be frowned upon.

  i knew someone would do a movie on this sooner or later, i saw a crazy video on youtube of top 10 most crazy clown sighting and clowns are really out there trying to kill people, and also this looked more like a blair witch kind of movie not really a legit movie if u know what i mean
