  He always maintained he'd stay there forever, but in an interview with an Argentinian newspaper this week, he was quoted as saying; "I'm just living the present. I'm thinking about having a great year at Barcelona and about winning the titles we want to win at Barcelona. After that, we'll see. I always said that I'd like to stay there forever, but things don't always work out as you want them to."
  
  Word is he wasn't too happy under Gerardo Martino last season and isn't getting on much better with Luis Enrique this, disagreed with the decision to sell Sanchez and Fabregas in the same window, and thinks Neymar's salary shouldn't be quite as close to his as it is. All's not well.
  
  Where would he go? PSG apparently made an offer in the summer, which was 'considered', but other than them and Man City (let's assume Real aren't an option) who could realistically afford him? No-one's going to see much change from £200m...

  Well, United can afford him. We make huge profits and have 0 FFP restrictions. Won't happen though, he'll be at Barca for life, without them he wouldn't have been able to pursue a football career

  you know how 99% of even the best english players don't move to play abroad because they don't want to go to another country because it's uncomfortable for them with language etc? well all that stuff goes double for messi. if he leaves barca it'll be the end of his career completely. i get the feeling he's a REALLY difficult guy and unless he somehow magically ends up in just the perfect environment, i think he'll have huge problems..

  If clubs had an equal share of his image rights £200m would be quite easily ofset with merch sales. Cant see him moving think this is all a plot to get a better wage.

  Could be a difficult one. Barca have always shaped their team around messi. If he moved, it might not only be the £200 million for him but the club might also need to invest more in other players to help bring the best out of messi.

  not making another thread,how fucking boring that league is,look at them getting 8 goals,theres no competition with all that talent on show,its like putting usain against a bunch of 10 year olds
