Ok, pulled in by Stephen Fry's dulcet tones and general ability to help break these things down and make them easy to digest. Great, it does some of that although some of the info herein is Orwellian and dystopian yet seemingly posed as a positive way forward, that put me on the back foot. Was it because I didn't like hearing it or is it because something about it doesn't feel right?

Well, my mind was made up in the latter half. Now I'm am not a supporter of Trump or news networks like Fox, this is not my discussion here, we have a thread for that but what irks me is the frequent shift in rhetoric where the focus becomes so very anti-Trump and anti-republican where so many other countries have also errored in the handling of Covid-19, namely our own. 

So why then are we getting this educational foray into what feels like it should be teaching us what is next and the best way to deal with the virus so heavily focused on anti-Trump and Republican propaganda? It's even the last point that the video makes and it certainly not the reason I clicked play. This video just does not sit right.

Think death rate is a bit of a wonky statistic. Issues with different reporting methods, as you've said, but also geography.  Even if you compare New York and California the numbers are wildly different on account of population density - and every country will have their own story to tell on that front.

But mostly, stripping away all the chat about how other countries and other politicians might be worse - when you consider how he's acted can you genuinely make a case for Trump being a force for good in all this, on his own terms?
