With the whole McGregor/Khabib makarky finally calming down, it's given Conor a bit of time to reflect on what happened and it seems like he's done a complete 180 and has actually posted a pretty classy and articulate post, explaining what happened.

Conor took to Instagram earlier to explain in detail why he lost to Khabib, revealing that he believed he suffered the worst round of his career:

For once it looks like Conor is actually holding his hands up and admitted he was a bit of a bitch. It's probably all one big PR stunt though so don't go getting your hopes up that he's a changed man.

Hi There Foxy Lady And All You Rampant Hentai's

Clearly, Khabib Had The Better Of McGregor Throughout The Fight With A Deserved Win.
Khabib's Actions Afterwards Were Diplorable, Possibly Still Hyped Up On Testosterone /Adrenaline.
But This Is The Kind Of " Action " That Takes Place When Thought Provoked " Reason " Goes Out Of The Window And Cave Man Mentality Takes Over. To These People Types " War Is War " On Any Level.

    Regards,
    Jester

I am sure it is just a PR stunt, but it is written well to make you not only understand that he lost and accept that he understands it. But also to convince you that he could have won and the only reason he lost is all on him, like winning or losing was never in Khabib's hands. Well played

i just think conor took to much time off living the high life, he came back to fight the undefeated champ after over 2 years, khabib humbled conor and hopefully it was a wake up call to take it more serious

no caged fighting fan myself, but was great to see that arrogant bastard get beaten. why carry  on like that?  " I am the greatest" worked for Ali, so I'll be like that too". at least Ali carried a bit of humour about him. His ploy must be for everyone to hate him, thus attracting more to buy tickets , subscription, sponsorship etc, hoping he will get his arse kicked.

Apparently he is worth about £70 million right now. As much as I dislike his attitude he has played the marketing game insanely well. Stupid really that sort of arrogance prints money

i thought i heard he was worth 100 million or was that just how much he got paid im not sure, but that proper twelve whisky he was promoting made him worth a whole lot more, imagine if he won the fight

I suppose every source is making a rough guess on net worth. It wouldn't surprise if it was closer to £100 million. If I remember, just the Mayweather 'fight' brought them both several million each.
