  Man City v Barcelona 19:45
  City probably won't qualify for the quarters, but I suspect it'll have more to do with the pasting they're likely to take at the Nou Camp than anything that happens tonight. They're actually outsiders here (2/1) which seems sort of ridiculous given their home form. The draw's a decent shout at 5/2 but I reckon they'll just about sneak the win. BTTS obviously, which makes it 4/1. Surprised Messi (21/20) and Negredo (11/8) aren't odds-on to score any time so it's worth getting on one or both of those.
  Prediction: 2-1 (10/1)
  
  It's Leverkusen v PSG tonight as well. If you're putting an acca together, 5/4 on the away win ought to do nicely.

  My prediction for both matches ::: Manchester City 3-2 Barcelona; Barcelona 2-2 Manchester City (5-4 on aggregate, Manchester City advance).

  I'm getting used to that feeling.... But one of these days, it'll all work out... One bet I won't be placing though is Messi to score first, the stats are way against it, so the bookies are trying to get to tempt you in with fanciful claims you are getting a bargain...

  I think there are some strange decisions that have gone against english teams in the past few years,look at utd , nani sent off last year for a foul that anyone in their right mind could see was a yellow card,chelsea v barca a couple of years ago aswell was an absolute disgrace-2 clear penalties and none given,utd vs bayern a few years ago same thing rafael sent off when there players surrounded the ref who was only going to give a free kick,i think refs are definetly being biased towards certain teams but never english ones and also they are not of the quality of referee that is needed for such high profile games as champions league knock out. Hence a barca win last night...yes a penalty but a freekick should have been awarded beforehand!

  Franck Ribery's got an arse injury. Now obviously there's plenty of other threats in this Bayern side but his absence is still good news for the Gunners. With home advantage the draw at 3/1 isn't out of the question, and at 4/1 the Arsenal win is almost worth a go. Though that is what they want you to think... Leave it! Bayern win, BTTS, 11/5, that looks the best bet to me. And 7/4 with a -1 handicap aint bad either. If last year's meetings between these sides are anything to go by there could be plenty of goals. Have a look at 3.5+ at 31/20.
  Prediction: 1-3 (12/1)

  AC Milan v Atletico Madrid 19:45
  A bit of context. Milan are currently 9th in Serie A and 31 points behind leaders Juventus. Atletico, meanwhile, are sat 3rd in La Liga on equal points with Real and Barca. Thought that was worth pointing out just in case you were wondering why Milan were as long as 14/5 to win at the San Siro. Atletico are 5/4, which almost seems generous. Another one for the acca I reckon. Diego Costa at 9/2 looks a good shout to score first and he's 9/1 to get 2 or more. For the home side you could do a lot worse than Balotelli at 12/5 any time.

• OLYMPIAKOS V MAN UTD BETTING TIPS

  Olympiakos v Man Utd (19:45)
  After beating Palace at the weekend and generally not being that awful in Europe this season, I was all set to think about backing United for the win here. But 5/4 just isn't doing it for me. They'd probably take a draw and I might do the same at 23/10. The only other option is to pile in with the -1 handicap at 10/3, but that's probably a touch ambitious. Van Persie (4/1) and Rooney (5/1) are both good shouts to score first and for old time's sake, how about Javier Saviola at 9/4 any time?

  It's Zenit v Dortmund today as well, 17:00 kick-off on account of it being played in Russia. Away win with the -1 at 19/10 looks decent.
