  If you’re a fan of the hugely popular series ‘Cobra Kai’ then you’re in luck because the season 4 trailer has just dropped and it looks awesome. Check out the trailer:
  
   
  So it looks like there’s going to be another karate tournament and they’re all going to be fighting each other again. It’s due to be released in December so that will be good for some pre-Christmas binge watching.

  Cobra Kai has absolutely no right to be as good as it is. Taking the antagonist from the first film and basing a series around him becoming a Mr Miyagi is a genius idea. The way the writers balance the story between the three generations of characters, and give them all three dimensional story arcs where no one is truly a hero or villain is so brilliant. The world building on top of the 3 original films is perfect and they use the actors from the old films in a perfect way too. It would be really cool if they could get Hilary Swank to make a cameo appearance. The ending of the third season was perfect and I can't wait for season 4.

  This was another great season of a show that has absolutely no right to be as good as it is. The action scenes and fight choreography are really good. And the melodrama is just as good. Even the comedic scenes are funny too. The end of season three was outstanding and it picks up right where it left off. Johnny and Daniel having to team up to defeat Creese and Silver was bound to suffer some bumps in the road. The dynamics between characters is so entertaining, and I love how each character individually shifts between morally light and dark. Even Creese and Silver have their issues too. The young cast are really likeable as well. Miguel continues to lead the show perfectly, Samantha's character goes on an interesting journey. Robby struggles with his relationship with Johnny. I can't wait to see Tori develop further in season five. Hawk, Demetrius and Stingray are great supporting characters. The introduction of a new character called Kenny, provides an interesting dynamic to Daniel's son Anthony, and a shift on the original plot from the first film. Everything concluded well in this season and leaves just enough to see where the story will go in season five.

  The trailer for season five got released today, and it's brilliant. Johnny being an Uber driver is funny, but it was good to see him teaming up with Chosen and Daniel. Silver's take over shows no signs of slowing down, and Creese looks like he's still going to be a problem despite him now being behind bars. The kids look like they've still got issues between themselves too. Tori looks like she's feeling the strain of Silver's mentoring. Miguel appears to be back in LA after last season's cliff-hanger of him going to Mexico to find his dad. Samantha is frustrated with her dad closing Miyagi-Do. Robbie still has issues with Johnny. Kenny appears to be continuing his journey down a dark path under Sliver's guidance. Eli, Demetri and Stingray weren't in the trailer but I hope they'll be in this season.

  Another amazing season. We pick up from the end of season four with Miguel in Mexico searching for his father. Johnny and Robbie are on their way to bring him back to Los Angeles. Daniel and Chozen team up to to take down Silver. Sam has PTSD due to losing the finals. Tori looks towards the light after seeing how dark Silver is. Robbie regrets introducing Kenny to Cobra Kai. Kreese is struggling in prison. Stringray is reaping the benefits of helping Silver reach his goal of not only taking over the valley but also the world.
  
  Yuji Okumoto steals the entire season as Chozen, he's hilarious, wise and kick-ass. Thomas Ian Griffith as Terry Silver puts in a legendary villain performance. Martin Kove as John Kreese has one of the best scenes in the entire series when he's having a counselling session where he sees people he's had an effect on throughout his life appear before him. Peyton List and Mary Mouser deserve credit too for their dramatic performances. Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg are geniuses for how they've created this show and expanded on one of the biggest trilogies from the eighties, and given all the new and old characters so many layers of emotional depth and engaging character arcs. I can't wait for season six and the Sekai Taikei tournament.

  It's the sixth and final season and this time we're going global. Netflix are releasing fifteen episodes in three segments, starting in July 2024, November 2024 and an unnamed as yet month in 2025.
