  See? I told you there were some awesome trailers out at the moment.
  
  Passengers tells the story of two passengers named Jim and Aurora who are onboard a spaceship transporting them to a new life on another planet. The trip takes a deadly turn when their hibernation pods wake them 90 years before they reach their destination. As Jim and Aurora try to figure out why the pods malfunctioned, they begin to fall for each other...only to be threatened by the collapse of the ship and the discovery of the truth behind why they woke up.
  
  
  
  The movie stars Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt so there's eye candy all round.
  
  
  
  Passengers will hit UK cinemas December 2016.

  The film is being released on December 23 2016, a week after Star Wars: Rogue One.

  wow this look really good my kind of movie, always into my space/alien type of movies, and i recognize that man from jurassic park 4 he was a ok actor i thought so this should be good

  A bit spoilery that trailer, you could probably guess most of the events of the film just from the trailer. Decent cast though so could be ok i suppose. 
  I do question the logic of releasing it so close to Rogue one, seems a bit stupid to release a space set sci-fi film to compete directly with a new Star Wars film.

  saw 'Passengers' crop up online a few days ago, would have been rude not to give it a looksee and have gotta say, despite the luke warm at best reception from most critics, i didnt think the film was all that bad (but certainly no classic). With decent enough performances by the films leads (although one particular character is soorely underused almost too the point of a disservice being performed) this was dverting enough. With some decent enough effects, the odd chuckle worthy moment (this certainly aint no film thats gonna get ya belly laughing) this s certainly entertaining enough for a siingle watch but kinda forgettable afterwards (and unlikely to warrent a second watch).

  I saw this a few days after it was released in the cinema and was really looking forward to it. I thought Chris Pratt is cool and Jennifer Lawrence is pretty good as well but i can not explain how disappointed i was in the film. It was so boring and so predictable. I was so fed up during the entire movie i just wanted it to end. I thought of like four different endings to the movie that would have been better than the one they went with. Overall i thought it was very boring and a total waste of my money.

  wOW.. safe to assume that you didnt enjoy Passengers, Coop. Know what you mean about the ending. I wont spoil it for anyone other than to say the end of the film, given what had procedded it (as pretty average as that was), did the film a massive disservice. My blinkers kinda go up when it comes to Jennifer Lwrence as well. While i find Chris Pratt enjoyable in most of the roles he has played / films he has been in, i really dont get all the fuss over Jennifer Lawrence..hugely overated in my opinion. Still, gotta admit, there are some pretty darn decent effects in this but, sadly, effects along cannot carry or ultimatly, save a film.

  Well gym i couldn't have said it any better myself. Yes while the special effects of the film were quite good they cannot help the film be better than what it written on the script. I also really agree with you about Jennifer Lawrence. She to me is very similar to Emma Watson in the fact that everyone goes on about how good they are when in fact they are just average and hyped up above what they actually are.

  I find that whilst i have enjoyed some of the films Jennifer Lawrence has been in, to be honest its rarely because of her and the performances she delivers. Despite being different they really do all jus seem to blend into one (kind of a one trick pony of sorts). Thats one oof the things that irked me about the recent xmen films..they would have been so much better if it were not for mystique having such a fundemental role and her playing her..uninteresting actress playing a pretty uninteresting character..whats to like.
