  So Eidos Interactive are allowing this game to be downloaded for free at the moment. Talk about a nostalgia trip. Used to play this like crazy during uni, instead of...going to uni haha. 
  
  I read a thread, or challenge, you had to manage Everton, who are 25mil in debt and have an absolute shit squad for the premiership. Massive difference from the current 3d game with it just being commentary haha. Anyway link below for anyone fancying it

  I used to enjoy FM more than CM tbh. I might give this a go though as it has been a long time since ive played it :P
  Why dont you try starting a new season as Tottenham Scotty.. :P

  Maybe we should start a freeware games thread or something.. id gladly stick Command & Conquer in there :D Loved those games and still do ;)

  took Fulham to win the champions league and league as well....most recent season, came down to the last game. All i had to do was draw and I won it. I was playing West Ham, who were bottom and conceeded something like 15 in the last four games and couldn't score in a brothel with a blank cheque. They bloody won 1-0, I had something like three goals disallowed, a miss penalty and god only knows how many times I hit the bloody post haha.
  
  and...that is why I love it, though not soooo much for a while after that game! "THATS SO FUCKING UNREALISTIC" haha

  Look at that  bloody team haha. Useless. Duncan Bloody Ferguson! haha. It's class though, Zidane Ronaldo and then the classic United side, Ryan bloody Giggs at 27. haha.

  just to clarify the current version of fm is a follow on from that version of cm, the developers sold the rights to the name champ but took the database with them and released football manager

  Yeah, thats the very one Needsasuck. I actually made the mistake when the split buying the name rather than the engine and sweet jesus that was absolutely shite. I don't think it was the same guys but before this there used to be a game called Premier Manager too. so good
