  Well, one of them's already finished. In Russia the final score was Zenit St Petersburg 1 - 1 Atlético Madrid.

  Didn't take Arsenal long to score with Jack Wilshere putting them ahead in the 1st minute, and that's how it remains. Ozil missed a penalty though, poor effort n'all.

  Ajax lol, yeah but Barcelona will score 4 in the 2nd half... I'm keeping a low profile as both my bets are currently in the win situation, so shhhhhh I wasn't here or didn't say anything :P

  Cruel old game isn't it? Chelsea make a hash of it again in what looked to be a pretty straightforward group, yet still qualify with just 9 points to their name. Arsenal, meanwhile, secured their 4th win out of 5 in the group of death and still need to get a result against Napoli to guarantee their progression.
  
  It's all over for Celtic though, their defeat against Milan means even the Europa League is out of reach now. And the big shock of the night came in that group's other match where Ajax beat Barcelona 2-1.

  Tis indeed a funny ole game, but at least I got my 2 from 2 yesterday, so happy enough, although not huge odds for either, it's a win - and thank you Steaua for keeping it a draw.
  
  If Silverware doesn't come Chelsea's way this year, how long will the 'special one' last do you reckon?

  Can't see them winning the Champions League, or the Premier for that matter. But I reckon they'll get a lot closer than they have done in the last few seasons.
  
  So yeah 2nd or 3rd in the league, plus they'll probably pick up one of the domestic cups, and that should be enough to keep Abramovic happy for now. Even if he's not I don't think he'd be as quick to sack Mourinho as he was the likes of AVB and Di Matteo. Never know with him though...
  
  Having said all that, if this year doesn't go amazingly and they start next season slow, he'll probably be gone.

  Finished early in Russia, as always, with Bayern Munich taking care of CSKA to the tune of three goals to one.

  Shakhtar Donetsk v Real Sociedad
  Juventus v FC Copenhagen
  Real Madrid v Galatasaray
  Paris Saint Germain v Olympiakos
  RSC Anderlecht v Benfica
  
  Joe Hart returns to the Man City line-up tonight but don't get too excited, a dead-rubber Champions League group game against the likes of Plzen is very much one for the stiffs.
  
  Not too many of the first choice eleven on show for City:
  Hart, Richards, Lescott, Demichelis, Kolarov, Milner, Nasri, Javi García, Fernandinho, Dzeko, Aguero
  
  United still have it all to play for of course, so a pretty strong side for them:
  De Gea; Smalling, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra; Valencia, Jones, Giggs, Nani; Kagawa; Rooney

  City made it harder work than it should have been but no such problems for United. Look at that, 5-0, fancy.
