  It's difficult to complain about the top 3 buying the league when you've got £150m+ sat in the bank. If the board really don't want to spend it maybe they could drop the ticket prices a bit?

  I take what I sad about Celtic back lol, or maybe they did slaughter their own sheep, whatever it was 3-0 enough to see them progress to the groups, and Milan slaughtered PSV 3-0 as well... just as well I didn't put any money on these games...

  i wasn't shocked to see celtic go through. in the first leg they weren't outplayed and shaktar aren't that good to be honest. milan are a much better team than psv as well.

  the odds are they will as they are in pot 3, which means they could get a terrible group to be in again. there are some softer teams in pot 1 and 2, i got a feeling their group won't be too bad.

  Pellegrini should make a better fist of it than Mancini did whoever they get. They can't keep going out at the group stage can they? It's laughable.

  i expect them to do alot better than last couple of seasons. mancini had a terrible record with inter in europe and was worse at city, bt he did have tough groups to be fair.

  Yeah last year's was a killer. But with the amount of City had spent compared to Dortmund, they should have gone through by rights.

  remember dortmund made the final last year so i'd disagree, but i know what you mean in terms of spending and big name players. finishing below ajax was terrible, they are very average.
