First wiggins isn't selected and know Cavendish is out through injury, not good for the British so far. He's out after crashing yesterday and suffering a dislocated shoulder and ligament damage.

Bad news - thet's 3 big names out already. Commiserations to Chris Froome and Team SKY, and cycling fans. I hope no one else will have to drop out as it's losing their stars!

I'm sure going home to her will make him feel alot better. Bet team sky are wishing they put Wiggins in the team now Froome is out, especially as they knew he wasn't great on cobbles. I'm not sure he even got too them.

Another big name out with Contador dropping out. It's starting to look like nibalis to lose now. Hopefully Porte can hang in there for team Sky though in case of any slip ups.

It's crazy how many of the top riders have dropped so far with so long left in the race. Another former winner of the tour de france is out now when Andy schleck pulled out.
