  The movie ‘Cats’ landed in UK cinemas today and people have been flocking to see it but U.S audiences are telling them not to bother because apparently it’s the biggest pile of plop  since 2016’s Ghostbusters. 
  
   
  
  Critics and moviegoers took to social media in droves to slate the film and even though it has an all-star cast, such as Taylor Swift, Idris Elba, Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Hudson, James Corden and Rebel Wilson, it still wasn’t enough to save this abysmal film.   Ouch. It kind of makes you wonder how this movie even got made. Tax right-off maybe? Can’t think of another reason why producers would give this the thumbs up. Tbf, I’ll definitely be watching it when it’s out on DVD, just to see how shit it is.

  Sadly, it will probably make money.
  
  Not as much if it had actually been any good, but still enough to make a profit.  All of the Cats fans will got to see it at least once, many not believing the CGI is so shit or that the acting is bad.
  
  My guilty not so secret is that I do like the musical, I did have the DVD, but some member of my family loaned it out and it's long gone.  But no way am I going anywhere near that pile of shit movie.  Someone described the "Cat" faces as looking like they had used one of those snapchat filters and after looking at some of the stills, they're right, it is that bad.

  I know I've been to see a stage version of it, but all I can remember about is the song "Memories".
  
  The cats just look creepy. There is currently some weird fascination with having 'live-action' films with creates but trying to humanise them (like Cats and The Lion King) - and it's not working. If you really want all these big names in it then just animate the thing.
