  Will it happen, both are traded post fight comments in the past week and both claim to want the fight but how realistic is the fight ever happening?
  
  Weight is the big factor, Canelo is not keen on fighting at 160 it seems currently and there is little chance of GGG accepting a catch weight bout when he wants to unify the Middleweight division by beating Billy Joe Saunders. Canelo has a number of options for his next bout, with talk of Pacquiao being a possibility should he beat Vargas in November and there is also the potential bout with Brook.
  
  Personally I don't think Canelo-GGG will happen which is a shame

  If the Canelo camp wanted the fight to happen it would have by now. They brought him into the ring giving it all the big talk when he beat Khan but they didn't reach out to GGG's team to make it happen. Oscar know's he loses to GGG by late stoppage so he's waiting as long as he can before putting him in the ring with him

  I think it's a combination of one side clearly not viewing as good business to take the fight (Canelo) and the other side being on a different path currently which means these two won't fight, GGG only has a few fights left based on age and it's not likely that Billy Joe will be his next as it wouldn't be sensible for Billy Joe to go into that fight without a prep.

  have to disagree with you there in saying he has only a few more fight left with his age as it's not like hes showing signs of slowing down since he's become a known fighter. he still has his epic knockout streak going and i feel he easily blows away anyone below 160 including canelo
