Candyman pisses off feminists everwhere on International Women's Day

As I'm sure you're aware, it was International Women's day yesterday. It was a day for women to unite and be proud of all they have acheived in this patriarchal society. Among the inspirational social media posts and memes, celebrating all the strong women out there, was a total pleb that didn't get the point of the day at all. Enter Candyman AKA Travers Beynon.



The tobacco tycoon's way of celebrating International Women's day was to post a photo of two naked women spreading their legs in the air to create a ‘W’ for women. A third girl, in nothing but a thong and a pair of high heels, can be seen bent over hoovering. He simply captioned it: #InternationalWomensDay



Obviously, this made some pretty angry, with one person commenting:
 

You’re an asshole. Respect and women and investigate why this day is commemorated. You can have a lot of money, but your brain is poor and useless.

I mean yeah, he's an utter moron who clearly has no respect for women but surely this post says more about the women who are happy to allow themselves to be treated like an accessory. They clearly value money more than their self respect!

Probs chucking a grand at them a time. Sign me up to get naked and devalue myself for that sort of wonga for one pic any time. I might mail him and suggest a really edgy photo of him resting a lit cigar in my arse hole for the right price.

Gotta say Reede, when i saw the subject title for your post i was half expecting to hear that Tony Todd (the real Candyman..loved that first film) had been disrespecting women, not that its right on any other day, but on the one day above all others that doing so is liable to make him look like an even bigger div (not that u are Tony). Imagine my surprise too find some div i didn't recoognise who clearly has more money than sense. Ok, fair play, whilst the wedge he has and is willing to distribute draws in some phenomenally attractive women but you would have thought he could have reigned in this kind of self publicity on that particualar day.
