So the usual suspects at the top with the notable exception of Williams' Valtteri Bottas, and even Jean-Eric Vergne making the final Q3. Hamilton was unlucky not to take pole with a quick lap scuppered at the final corner.
I think this shows just how much the teams differ with the intermediate tyre, it seems most would have preferred the slicks or the total wet, and probably hope the actual race would be one or the other, except perhaps Red Bull and Mercedes.
I'm glad for Williams, having been a supporter of theirs since the early 80s and especially enjoying the antics of Mr Red 5 - Mansell... but I don't hold out much hope they can convert this qualifying result into a decent race finish, although a points finish for them would be something they must now hope for.
Let's see what weather the race day brings, oh and I doubt you'd get good odds on there being a safety car lol...
