Calling - regular number v free mins number

Hi guys
Does anyone call using their free minutes?, if so, have you noticed how the menu is slightly different?
When you call the normal credits number, as soon as you hear the menu, you can enter your connection pin, & it takes you to the next step in the process/to the menu of the channel you're calling
But when you call using the free minutes number, it goes through a whole speech, no matter when you enter your pin, which could make all the difference between connecting to a girl, & not connecting
