Can someone please help!!  My messages can not be seen on the chat box, I've never had any problems with it before. Can anyone find out what the problem is please

I've noticed of late that the messages are sticking and the refreshing of the box is lagging, it's just not updating its self as fast as
some are typing and I sometimes find it annoying but not too much..............
