Just read that Jenson Button could go the same way as Mark Webber and join the World Endurance Championship and that he may already have had talks with Porsche, who Webber drives for! After the most Mickey Mouse gimmicky season of F1 that I can ever remember this season and also one of the most awesome Le Mans 24 hours of all time, pure driving and racing in brilliant cars that are relevant to the development of modern day road cars in many ways, I would love to see this!

May as well. If McLaren let him go he's not likely to be picked up by another top team, and at his age does he really need the hassle of scratching around at the back of the grid for some no-mark?

F1 seems to be a 'closed shop' even for the younger drivers coming through now with many going on to the Endurance route. Last year's GP2 champ didn't get the traditional promotion to F1 and Sam Bird was in a Ferrari at Le Mans. At the older end of the scale, the likes of Allan McNish and Tom Kristensen have shown that age is no barrier so I think this would be a great move for JB.
