But is it Art?
I don't know what Art is or whether it should have even began with a capital letter but that's just bad education of the english not my lack of culture coming through.
There are plenty of people telling you what art is and what it should do for you but then that leaves you precisely nowhere as really, you'll only put up in your abode what you like and generally you will consider it art. My wall is covered in pictures of fannys and a private room no one can know about that is full of wangs. Both rooms glorious and beautiful so I would feel at home at this gallery event where the fannys and wangs of the world are not just on the walls but walking around it too. If you like the look of something, buy it, print it and stick jt on your walls.... When considering the thorny issue, "is it art" ?, I think to myself, "could the current Mrs Briss make/paint/film such a thing, if so it is certainly not art ! |
