  Went to see Ian McCulloch {Echo and the Bunnymen} do a solo acoustic gig tonight, Floral Pavilion New Brighton Blue Room, intimate, only holds about 250 people around tables so you can have a bevy and enjoy the show.
  Brilliant! sounded great, doing all the fav Bunnymen songs but about an hour into the show he stormed off stage like a big soft kid, some guy right at the front was talking to his bird while Macca was singing, alls Macca had to do was finish the song then say ''Hey mate while im singing keep it down will ya, these people have come to see / hear me not you, and if I can hear you on stage so can they'' but instead he stood up and said ''Hey you ya cunt, shut the fuck up, im off'' he put his guitar down and stormed off stage! everyone was stunned but a few people were calling him to stay on, he said ''Don't tell me, tell him'' what a fucking tool! I love the Bunnymen and Maccas lyrics are fkin brill, but I lost a lot of respect for him tonight! talk about the bleeding hearts of artists! He did come back on after 10 minutes or so but the atmosphere was fucked by then.
  Been to absolutely loads of gigs different bands around the country, never seen anything like it, what a knob end! 
  Still love the music though.
