  Pharrell is truly a creative innovator and I can't wait to see this. The Neptunes have ran the charts for multiple decades in almost every genre of music. Him using the medium of 3D animated Lego to tell his biography doesn't surprise me at all, given the various influences  he uses within his production, song writing and music videos. The part I'm most looking forward to is his early Neptunes years with Chad Hugo and how they met Teddy Riley, the origins of Clipse with the Thornton Brothers and joining forces with Shay to create N*E*R*D.

  It's a biopic but told in the format of an interview via the medium of a Lego. As crazy as that concept sounds, it really works. We get to see the origins of Pharrell's love for music and the bounds he formed, the rise of his omnipotence on the music charts across various genres, the fall when trends changed and focus was lost and his viral resurgence that took over the world. Seeing Chad, Shae, Pusha, Timbo, Missy, Teddy, Jay Z, Kendrick, Nore, Snoop, Busta, Usher, Britney, Justin, Gwen, Madonna, Daft Punk, Niles and Oprah turned into Lego characters was cool. The translation of songs made by Pharrell into a visual storytelling form was really creative.
