  I think so, only a mechanical failure can now stop his victory... Hamilton has just clawed his way back to the points and 10th place, he'll probably look for top 5

  A couple more laps and I think Webber would have done it. He did well to get back in to contention though. Hamilton too, finishing 5th after coming from the back of the grid with that tyre blow-out.
  
  Good win for Rosberg though.

  Certainly a race to remember then, though it’d have been nice if that had less to do with dodgy tyres. That did for Lewis Hamilton early on and cost him first place, and while he did well to battle back to earn 4th, it’s never nice to see a driver go out like that. Blow-outs would do for Vergne, Perez and Grosjean later in the race too. And while Vettel was looking good for the win, plain old engine failure forced him out towards the end which allowed Nico Rosberg to steal the victory.
  
  Vettel’s teammate Mark Webber drove a great race after getting hit on the first lap and battled his way back up to 2nd. The race just ended a couple of laps too soon for the Aussie, as he was looking good to pass Rosberg. Paul Di Resta deserves a mention too. After qualifying so well and then being demoted to the back of the grid due to an underweight car, he finished a creditable 9th.
  
  All in all, cracking entertainment I reckon. What are your thoughts on it?

  After all the blow-outs at the weekend, Pirelli have confirmed that they'll be changing how they make their tyres ahead of the German Grand Prix this Sunday.
  
  The rear tyres' internal belt will be made of Kevlar at the Nurburgring rather than the usual steel.
  
  Hopefully that'll work eh?
