The Walking Dead season 7 will be released soon and judging from this teaser it looks like Negan and his spiked bat Lucille will be in control.
In a recent interview, Jeffrey Dean Morgan who plays Negan explained what to expect from his version of character in the upcoming season:
“If I just make this guy manic and kind of one dimensional then I don’t have anywhere to go. So I thought, for me, and especially after doing that first episode, the introduction, and some head bashing, there had to be a place I could go. I try to make every scene a little bit of a rollercoaster so you don’t know. So it’ll keep you on your toes of where Negan is, and I only have so much I can go on working on the comic book.”
After the crazy end to last season, fans have been anxiously awaiting to find out who Negan killed. Well, we are very close to finding out and while I an extremely excited for the new season, I am also nervous as fuck.
Season 7 will pick up exactly where season 6 left off, with someone's head getting bashed in at the hand of Negan's best friend, Lucille.
The Walking Dead season 7 premieres on October 23, 2016 on AMC so whack it in your diary. -

i was wondering when this next season was gona start, i will be on away on the start date but i like to wait for the season to finish before i watch anyway, walking dead kills me at the end of a episode i just want to see the next one so best to wait, and rip glen -

Yeah, think the upcoming season is sarting later than usual (swear it always used to start the beginning of Octber..not towards the end). On the upside though, that means the 8 episode 1st half season should take us almost up to christmas. Im hoping for big things from Neegan..has got the potential to be the best villian yet (dare i say even better than the governer..and we all knnow wha a bastard he was, compelling to watch, but still a bastard lol). -

lol gymaddict i couldnt stand the gov, at first i thought he was good people but then that changed really quick, but these new gang of guys look way more scary if u ask me cant wait -

The Gov was a bad guy, but Neagan is something completely different, he takes bad guy to a whole new level, i think this is as close to the comic book of character portrayal ive seen, -

All tv series of an adult nature, take note, NOW THAT IS HOW YOU OPEN A NEW SEASON..HOLY SHIT. Sat there as a family last monday night we gathered in front of the tv, fired up the season 7 opener but nothing could have prepared of the tour de force that was to follow. Very few shows or individual episodes ever manage to acheive this with me and my family but for the entire duration of the episode no one said a single word, made a single peep..we were transfixed. After a seemingly going through the motions last couple of seasons with glimmers of hope, along comes Neegan. To say with a bang is possibly the understatement of the year..this guy is evil as fuck but like say Joffrey from Game of Thrones, my god he is a treat to watch. A massive well done to not only the cast and powers that be but most importantly Jeffrey Dean Morgan himself. Really is a case now of 'Governer..who'. A brutal, exhausting, exciting, tense tour de force of an episode and all involved should be commended for it. Theres a portion of the fan base complaining about it being too dark in terms of subject matter..get over yourselves, this is just the kick in the ass the show needed. -

just watched first episode of walking dead new season and i gutted that glen got that spike bat to the head, proper caught me off guard to, because the ginger head guy got it first and i thought that was it, but then he brutally killed off my guy glen, unreal but very good first episode -

My god, holy shit, that was an openning episode and a half wasnt it dony? Glad ya enjoyed it as well. Onto episode 2 which tonned things down considerably but was good in a whole different respect in my opinion. After the brutality displayed in the 1st episode of the new season it was refreshing to have a little light humor of sorts injected into the 2nd (that king Ezikiel is quite a guy isnt he). Thats not to say though there wasnt still some tense moments and an ample amount of walke based slaughter. Another strong episode but an entirely different beast to the previous episode. -

lol i didnt think about spoilers maybe i should of toned it down a bit, but im sure most of u have all seen it now anyway, im gona watch episode two and three tonight, im sure something crazy will happen -

I was wondering when Neegan would crop up again...thankfully we only had to wait until the third episode for him to reappear. My god, he's a nasty bastard isnt he..compelling, exciting but really nasty haha. Another not overly fantastical, close knit largely character driven episode. Could have easily gone wrong but with Darryl and Neegan the two centre pieces of the episode it made for a hugely enjoyable hour of tv viewing. *SPOILER* nice try with Daryl but you are gonna have to work harder than that to break him, Neegan.
