  dont forget the reason Shogun 'didnt have it' was that bastard kept punching him in the face! lol if he didnt have it, he would have gone in the first round! hendo might not look like he throws that right hard at times, but damn its like he has a brick in that glove!
  
  and age only becomes a factor if you dont look after yourself. hendo can go another 2 years if he continues like that! big nog has had to many wars!
  
  Shogun is a true Brazilian nutter for going 5 rounds. they make 'em tough down there!

  I thought Shogun showed a lot of heart in the fight. He took an awful lot of punishment in the first three rounds but dominated the last two when other fighters could easily have given up. Its definitely a true comment about the brazilian fighters that they breed them tough. It seems to be either football or some mma in that country and they are mad about both sports.
  
  Anyone think Henderson should be next in line for a shot at Jones (providing he gets past Machida) or will he have to wait for Jones V Rashad. He'll hopefully get a shot as soon as possible as age is definitely against him no matter how well he looks after himself. 5 round wars like last weekend don't help either.
  
  Don't forget the Froch v Ward fight on December 17.

  For most brazilian fighters its a case of fight or die when they are growing up, which is why they fight like thier lives depend on it!
  
  Jones will knock Machida out, then as long as they are healthy, Rashad is next. Henderson should get the shot of the winner of that fight, but Dana being Dana, he could either give Hendo the next shot or just screw him like he did before!
  
  I personally would give Hendo the next shot as he was Strikeforce Champ, gave it up to resign a UFC contract and beat the former champ. Plus, i give think it'll be a better fight as Rashad will just try and take him down and smother him. that tactic will either work or he'll get knocked out shooting for a take down. at least with Hendo, he will make Jones fight him! Bring it on!
  
  Do you know who's showing the Froch fight? Is it SKYSPORTS or BOXnation?

  yea shogun showed tonnes of hert in the fight thats for sure but you can just tell when a fighter has changed and is not the same anymore. its not just this fight, he didn't look as sharp even in the win against forrest. anyway, look forward to rashad vs jones and defo hendo vs jones. would it not be weird if hendo could beat jones but not silva lol the silva fans will go nuts at that!!
  
  overall as well what a great card, how about kampman vs story and what about faber as well doing the business again

  Kampmam just isnt as impressive as he should be! he has tonns of talent but only seems to give 70/80% Might be he dosent like the big crowds, some fighters are like that! good win tho

  yea absolutey i LOVE what he did with that initial uppercut as well. he did a nice little feint on the first move, saw that the guy moved to cover up leaving himself open for the upper cut and then just faked it again but threw everything into it the second time, lovely move and a really really smooth guillotine
  
  i thought kampman was impressive, i havent watched him too much in the past so not sure about 70/80%, but i thought story was gonna take it that guy is so powerful and built, last time i saw him i thought he would be in title contention before long, but guess he has some work to do first.

  trust me, kampmam is better than he has produced so far. Story isnt as good as the hype! as was proved.
  
  i have seen kampmam in training with TOP guys and he dosent produce the same quality in fights! certain fighters have issues with big nights in big arenas. if it does click, then he would suprise a lot of people as he beat Story at 70/80%, what would he have done to him at full performance.
  
  story has a long long way to go. he'll get there, just needs to be patient. definately one to watch i think!

  Shogun does'nt seem to be the same fighter since he joined the UFC. He had a lot on injuries which seem to have really affected him. He's still young especially when you compare him to the likes of henderson, couture of even Anderson Silva.
  
  It's a shame that the fights you'd really like to see will probably never happen like Jones v Anderson Silva, GSP V Anderson Silva, Jones V Dos Santos or even Aldo v Edgar

  yea i guess he was indeed overhyped, fighters like that of course are liable to being overhyped because of his style, big puncher and all that. those bodyshots looks really sick too. anyway, regardless it looks like gsp is pretty safe for now lol.
  
  oh and fedor got a DECISION against monson lol, ok i'm gonna stop watching him now because i don't need any more depression lol
