  btw im a fan of jon jones i was never much a fan of chuck liddel i was in the randy the natural cutoure camp i love watching george rush saint peirre

  Did anyone watch the kell Brook fight, what did ye think. I was very impressed by the heart he showed. Probably the first true test he's had. Be interesting to see if he is good enough to really challenge for a world title.

  Kell Brook fight was a great fight. he dominated till the sixth where he got a broken nose and finished the fight showing great heart and will be a much stronger fight because of it. Carson Jones is a beast man, he was walking thru shots at times and i was amazed how he kept going.
  
  and Gavin Reece was brilliant too, i love that guys style.

  Tyson fury is coming along well. shame he didnt knockout vinny aka the real rocky over the weekend but will hope he only continues to go forwards as he looks a real talent

  Anyone se the Munoz v Weidman fight. Very impressive display with Weidman, completely dominated him. Hes probably one or two more fights before a title shot.
  
  The only downside of the fight was the ref. Munoz was done after the elbow and should'nt have been let go so long taking unnecessary punishment on the ground. I realise fighters have to be given a chance to recover but refs have to be able to see when a guy is unable to defend himself and stop it.

  Weidman was sensational, but we have to remember that Munoz was coming off a long lay off and was reportedly 220/230 at the beginning of traing camp for this fight. fighting at 185 and cut that much is crazy man
  
  Rsoenthal, the ref, at least admitted he fucked up and wants to learn from that mistake. it was bad and it makes it all the more surprising it was him, being he never fucks up unlike some of the others.

  I know its a bit after the fight but I was wondering what people though of the Edgar V Henderson fight. Did ye agreee with the decision? Does Edgar need to drop to 145 as it has to take its toll always fighting much bigger guys.

  Edgar won that fight, he land the better punches, dropped Henderson twice and got take downs. Henderson did nothing but land some kicks and same punches. UFC wants Henderson as champion and decided to screw Edgar. Not the first time they have done this and wont be the last.
  
  They see a fight between Henderson and Diaz as a real box office winner and Good (hendo) v Bad (diaz). This will be how they try and promote it and it will bring in at least double the viewing figures of a Diaz v Edgar fight.
  
  Edgar is fine in the division tho, dont see why he should drop when he has always fought and beaten bigger guys. Getting screwed against Henderson is no reason to drop a division.

  yea well that's the other, even BIGGER reason to screw frankie - because he's seen as a big challenge to Jose Aldo, and THAT could be a huge fight if edgar decides to drop. i think he might do just that, for sure dana will give him more money to do it and he's not getting any younger at 30.
  
  it's a shame, but then UFC have been at least somewhat consistent with these types of decisions from what i remember - like the first Machida vs Shogun fights - Shogun won, but he didn't absolutely completely dominate him and knock him out.
