  Went to an MMA thing at the Troxy the other night. It was alright, bit too much romantic rolling about for my liking though...
  
  More in to the boxing, can't wait for the Haye/Klistschko(?) fight!

  U need to look up a guy called Lee murray! He had a UFC Title but he has a bit more of a story to him.

  it's all about mma for me
  they have a reality tv show on right now as well called The Ultimate Fighter it's pretty good

  I used to be into MMA in the early days of UFC and PrideFC. UFC had even fewer rules and some more 'normal' people competing eg bar brawlers rather than straight athletes. It was kinda a freakshow at times but rather enjoyable I must say. It certainly prooved the way to beat a big guy down was to repeatedly smash him in the balls... didn't last too long though!
  
  PrideFC was usually good for knock outs and some mental action. Anyone know what happened to them? I believe they may have been brought out by UFC or something, I don't really remember.
  
  I am more of a boxing fan now adays but that has seen better days too....

  I've been a long time boxing fan and in the past couple of years got into mma (mainly through UFC). I'm interested to know more about the mma events rampant tv sponsors, anyone have some info?

  yea pride got bought out by UFC they weren't really making money anymore at that point, but you should watch UFC now, they got some seriously good fighters, especially their new light heavyweight champion jon jones - he's fighting december 10th check it out
