Hull v Man Utd 12:45
4 wins on the bounce now for United and all being well they should make it 5 here. There’s always a chance they might drop a bollock of course but no one’s backing Hull are they? Not even at 5/1. The draw might be worth a look at 29/10 but the safe money has to be on the away win at 4/7. Rooney’s fit again so it’s all about him in the scorer markets, 10/3 to net first and 10/11 any time. Hull are decent at the back though so it could be tight. Under 1.5 goals at 12/5 maybe? Maybe…
Prediction: 0-1 (11/2)
Aston Villa v Crystal Palace
Motherfuckers lost to Stoke and Stoke are in the top half as a result. Can’t really back Villa with any confidence, or Palace for that matter. Draw for me, 23/10. Marouane Chamakh’s suspended but hilarious first scorer odds aren’t all about him. Cameron Jerome at 8/1 anybody? BTTS is evens, and I think they will too.
Prediction: 1-1 (11/2)
Cardiff v Southampton
Remember when Southampton weren’t conceding? Well the back five’s been blown to pieces and any defence containing Jos Hooiveld and Danny Fox is liable to ship a few. Can’t see Cardiff causing them as many problems as Spurs did at the weekend but they’ll make a good go if it for Malky Mackay’s sake if nothing else. BTTS at 10/11 and Lallana to score first at 15/2 for me.
Prediction: 2-2 (16/1)
Chelsea v Swansea
The Blues are probably going to win but 1/3 doesn’t interest me in the slightest. A frustrating draw perhaps? That’s 19/5 if you fancy it. Quite liking the look of under 2.5 goals at 23/20 and how about Michu to score first at 11/1? He is due one, probably not reason enough to stick your hand in your pocket though is it?
Prediction: 2-1 (8/1)
Everton v Sunderland
1/3 for the Everton win eh? It’s not going to end well for Sunderland. Got to be Lukaku at 11/4 or Barkley at 6/1 to open the scoring and 3+ goals for them at 11/8 might be worth a go too. The Toffees to win both halves at 9/5 looks the best of the bunch for me though.
Prediction: 3-0 (8/1)
Newcastle v Stoke
They’re starting to get a bit consistent aren’t they? 4/5 for the home win looks remarkably good value. They’ll lose if I back them obviously, but don’t let that stop you. Cabaye at 7/1 looks good for the first goal. Assume that Stoke won’t score at all.
Prediction: 2-0 (7/1)
Norwich v Fulham
Half of me thinks Norwich will win comfortably, and they should do by rights, but at the same time I can see Fulham sneaking a point. The draw at 12/5 and home win 21/10 are both decent value though really. Can’t seem to get my head round who might score so I’ll leave it there.
Prediction: 2-1 (8/1)
Tottenham v West Brom
Adebayor’s interested! Drink it in, make the most of it, consider backing him to score first at 5/1. I reckon there could be a few goals in this one. 4.5+ at 18/5 is tempting me, as is BTTS at ¾. Also, Shane Long’s 9/4 to score any time too. Lovely stuff.
Prediction 3-2 (22/1)
West Ham v Arsenal
Ramsey to score first, obviously, you can get 15/2 on that or 2/1 any time. 6/10 for the Arsenal win is probably about right but not too appealing. Team it up with BTTS though and all of a sudden it’s 23/10. Do that. 3 or more goals for the away side at 19/10 looks good as well.
Prediction: 1-3 (12/1)
Man City v Liverpool 17:30
Liverpool are great and everything, but it’s City at home innit? Such a bastard of a fixture that Luis Suarez is as long as 5/4 to score any time. You clearly need to get on that and 8/1 on him scoring 2 or more is probably worth a couple of quid too. Hard to say who will score for City, all of them probably. Last up, 5.5+ match goals seems likely, and very tempting at 6/1.
Prediction: 4-2 (33/1)
