  Three tips on the golf this week
  
  Martin Kaymer - He has played well in spells all year but not got himself into a position to win a tournament but he has good form at this time of the year and has won in China before. Will be going for it this week as he knows only wins will get him a chance to win the money list title.
  
  Jamie Donaldson - He is in very good form and will be chomping at the bit to get back into competitive action after looking strong with 5 holes left in his last event only to three putt from 4 feet and that knocked the stuffing out of him. Shot 62 here in Round 1 last year so will have positive vibes from that.
  
  Alexander Noren - He has just come back from minor wrist surgery following an injury occurred in July, this came after he posted back to back 4th place finishes in Sweden and Germany. Nothing flashy about his first two starts since surgery but good signs in there and he was 6th here last year, course form and a spark is all it takes for Noren.
  
  Also look out for Luke Guthrie who is a star of the future for America, he could be worth a small punt too @ 80/1

  Jamie Donaldson - 1.5pts e/w @ 40/1
  Alexander Noren - 1.5pts e/w @ 55/1

  So not gone so well in round 1 for my three, Noren is closest to it at 2 over, Kaymer needs a good day tomorrow but Donaldson is out of it already. I will claim some credit for the fact Guthrie was mentioned as worth a small punt and he's leading by 3

  Another very, very solid round from Guthrie, leads by 4 and given that the conditions are likely to be tough again tomorrow, anything around par will see him retain his lead and an under par round might see him increase it, Kaymer picked it up a bit today but hard to see him catching the front runners

  In the end Guthrie had to settle for 4th place but that still brings in some good place money for those that backed him, which makes it hard to grumble at the lad. WGC HSBC Champions tips will be up tomorrow once the prices are available
