  Well the site where i pre ordered the Avengers on blu ray in a steel case they didn`t have the 3D version available in a steel case no, they mostly seem to release 3d Blu Rays in the usual cases (probably due to the extra price they would have to put onto something if it was both Steel case and 3d since they add a price individually)

  Ah a post for other steel box enthusiasts, I admit I like the steel book variants, I have quite a few at the moment including
  Thor, Green Lantern, Cat America, Avatar, The Wolfman, Akira, Metropolis, 2012, Priest, Battle: LA, District 9, Expendables. Green Hornet & Paul and sopme others I can't remember now. Anyway some of them like Avatar shot up in price afterwards, going for £50 or more, similar at the moment is rise of The Planet of The Apes, the next one I hope to track down for a considerably cheaper price. Be proud fellow enthusiasts...

  Discovered something interesting about a certain steel case blu ray recently, if anyone owns the Thor Steel case you can sell it used for about £80 used on amazon (some even selling for more).
  Tempted to take advantage myself and gouge for a high price but didn't want to part with it lol.
