  Since the tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman this has been a film that many have wanted to see how that tragic real life event would effect this fictional story. The trailer beautifully starts with Nakia looking out into the ocean with a Central American temple in the background, as No Woman No Cry by Bob Marley plays over the top of this trailer. The next few characters to appear are Queen Ramonda, Princess Shuri and the head of the Dora Milaje Okoye. Tenoch Heurta, Michaela Coel and Dominique Thorne also make appearances as Namor, Aneka and Riri Williams. Queen Ramonda appears to make a statement in front of the United Nations about losing her entire family and then a mural of T'Challa is shown on screen. The trailer ends with Alright by Kendrick Lamar being played and the reveal of someone in a Black Panther costume revealing their claws.

  In this latest trailer we pretty much get confirmation as to who has now taken on the mantle of the Black Panther. We also get to see more of Namor and Ironheart in action. M'Baku appears to know about Namor and is informing his fellow Wakandans about him.

  This was probably my favourite Marvel film of Phase Four and just edges ahead of Shang-Chi and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Due to the unfortunate events involving Chadwick Boseman, it was a gargantuan task for Ryan Coogler to continue to create something as director and screenwriter. But he and everyone involved in the making of this film formed an emotional rollercoaster of a movie. The returning cast of Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Winston Duke and Letitia Wright were all great. As were the new cast members Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Michaela Cole and Dominique Thorne. A couple of cameo appearances gave nods to the past and the future. There is only a mid-credits scene and it perfectly fitted into the narrative of this story and also gave a plot point that can be built upon in future films or TV shows. I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of the cast earned an acting Oscar nomination.

  I tried, I really did, twice. I initially enjoyed it but bits really dragged on. NOt sure every marvel film needs to be 3 hours long, they aren’t all masterpieces and don’t warrant it. Could have been better with a bit more of a tougher edit.

  Pitch meeting never misses the mark. Lots of material in the current age of cinema for them tbf.
  
  Disney on a whole ain't looking so fresh and the stock price seems to reflect that. Star Wars didn't even get off the start line after their disastrous reboot trilogy, no wonder we haven't seen a Star Wars movie in the last couple of years. There's also rumours that Disney is looking to offload Lucasfilm, It wouldn't surprise me if the leaks about Indiana Jones are true. Disney+ is also losing money and Marvel phase 4 has frankly been a pile of dogshit with no direction (She Hulk anyone?). Ain't looking so rosy. Hopefully we will see a spark in creativity soon, shits become STALE.

  when i watched this, i came out thinking they may have needed a short tv series to establish some of the supporting cast a bit more, since the passing of Chadwick, because all of a sudden the lead actor was gone and now we are suppose to automatically get behind the sister who was a supporting role last time.

  You've highlighted one of the problems with Disney as a whole, I need to watch like 2 seasons of 3 different shows just to catch up so I can watch a 3 hour movie. Nah brah, I'm watching the new Dune or Oppenheimer..
