RE: Black Adam

It was actually fairly decent, but my expectations were relatively low given that this film has been in development for fifteen years, and that Black Adam should really be a villain in a Shazam film instead of a hero in his own film. The Rock does what he always does in terms of providing a bit of charisma, but this time it was with a bit of a more brutal edge. Pierce Brosnan was that star of the film though, by giving the film a bit of effortless poise. Aldis Hodge was good as Hawkman by providing a different moral perspective to the film. Swindell and Centineo were good as the young rookies on the Justice Society. Shahi, Amer and Sabongui were good in their supporting roles. There are four pretty cool cameos in the film, but one of them will be the one that most people will talk about and really look forward to seeing again in another DC film.
