And, Jester - I would have guessed the show you were on about, only because you mentioned the "Pencil" prize! :P Kooky got in there first, and here's a clip from 1975. It had changed to "It's Five O'Clock" by then!

Oh yes! I remember Interceptor!!!! ITV's answer to Treasure Hunt!!! I remember watching this as well.

Here's one that I watched every now and then. Hosted by Craig Charles, with a young Philippa Forrester reporting! She was fit!
